looking to June.......
Here it is the last day in May, a beautiful day outside at 84 degrees. Nothing monumental has happened lately. Katie continues to be pregnant and we all continue to be excited. Richard is still truckin' and I'm still.....well.....here.
We're looking forward to Mom's birthday on the 5th of June, when she will be turning 94! You know, that's pretty far up there. She's doing well, although time is taking its toll on her vision and hearing, as well as her mobility. Fortunately it hasn't affected her mind. She's still a pretty sharp old gal, and a favorite with the staff at Caring Heart where she now resides. As of next Tuesday she will have officially attained the highest age of anyone in her family, which she loves to point out.
While the California kids are busy expecting their new arrival, the Washington kids were able to take a long weekend to fly to New York City. They left their 3 year old with her paternal grandmother and flew off to walk the streets of New York. We're glad they could get away for some R & R.
June is birthday month for our family, so if any of you happen to read this, we wish you a wonderful day. All together I believe there are 10 birthdays and 2 anniversaries. Our twins will hit the big 30! neener neener
If you stop in and read this, it would be really cool if you would write a response or something so I can tell if anyone actually cares.
